Hey SRV.
You shoulda introduced yourself.
We woulda shared the moment with you.
I remember you saying g'day, but did not know who you were.....we had a bit of that, met some nice folk and heard about some Nostalgia cars being built.
Nice pics everyone. I will get mine up soon.
Had a blast!!

ran into Alex (custom fc) and John Rapinette, but they were too busy studying their timecards....

...not surprising, they both had some pretty big numbers to contemplate...  Grin

Edward, Edward, Edward....you shouldn't leave yourself open like that.
I believe you entered your Ford on the day......enlighten us on the times you ran.
Oh that's right, your Ford never made it out of your garage.
You should have entered your Holden, it wouldn't have let you down. Smiley
Our numbers may not have been as low as some, but our grins were as big as anyone there.  Grin Grin Grin

Alex

Mr Sideplate holds his crown for another day - there were no grey powered challengers :-/

What a great day it was.  Here are a few pics I took.

This caught my eye in the car-park.  One of Chuck's photos shows this car in a line-up.

This was the fastest early Holden in the Nostalgia section, running at least one eight second time.

And no surprises that Joe Schembri's supercharged outlaw FC was the fastest Holden of the day.  I can't recall what it ran now, very low 8 I think.  As Mick Dundee might say, "That's not a wheel tub.  This is a wheel tub" Grin

And here come our normally-aspirated in-laws Smiley  The look on the face of the kid says it all I reckon.  He had Alex for reaction-time, and was with him up to the eighth-mile mark Grin Grin

cheers
