Looking for a differential flange locknut. Needing to replace pinion oil seal, and manual says this must be replaced. Is this true? If yes, where can I get one? Rarespares don't seem to stock them.

Thanks,

John

John,
No need to replace nut unless you damage it getting it off.  You should mark the nut and the flange before undoing the nut with a line on the nut that runs onto the flange at the same spot. So when you retighten the nut after you do the seal you line up the marks. This is so you roughly put the right preload back onto the pinion gear. I know what Imean but it is hard to put it into words SORRY.

   Cheers Al
