Gave Edna a wash and chamois down the other day and she looked so good I had to take a few pics.  She last appeared here about 3 years ago, so I thought I'd put her on for any newer members.  She is not perfect as her paintjob and upholstery were done over 20 years ago, but we think she is pretty special!  Cheers,  Mike.

Hey Mike,

Thanks for posting again, its such a beautiful car. Will we see it in the flesh at next years Nats for the 50th Anniversary of the FE?

Cheers,

Craig.

Craig, there is nothing I'd like better thant to attend the Nats. Had early plans to go to the last, but family commitments over-ruled.  Have had a few problems with the car.  It sat in a garage for a year while we travelled Aust. and when back on the road a lot of the seals had to be replaced, plus she had brake problems.  She has  a bit of cancer in the sills I have to attend to.  Still, these are all part and parcel of owning a classic.  Cheers, Mike.

Who says the 50s cars don't have class.  Sunvisor, spats and the stripe make for one very suave car.  Good one, Mike.

Thanks, fellas.  Jamie, saw your original post and have missed your follow-ups with the detroit strips.  It certainly looks the goods.  I agree with you that it is good to try to keep mods to the era.  Would like to do the carbs/extractors bit myself one day.  Have the twin manifold but no linkages.  cheers, Mike.
