Does anyone know if/where I can get some commodore stub pattern rims (15" as I have hoppers VT disks on front, VS diff in back) that look like original rims (maybe slightly offset as the rear is close to the body) and will take the original hubcaps?   Has anyone any suggestions. (The wagon is a V6, but I am trying to keep it fairly stock looking! well as stock as it can look with 15" rims and radials with the car in a Mazda colour ...... Smiley

hi mike, not too sure about the standard looking rims, but the problem i ran into running 15' commodore rims just your standard chasers is that the offset will need to be changed by 25- 30mm. i am running commodore discs all round (modified HR stubs and a cut down VN diff) and found that the front tyres sit about 10mm from the top ball joint but it is a very tight fit. and the back comes in very close to rubbing on the inner guard. hence the need for the change in offset.
the other point is that using 15 inch rims running 50 series tyres brings the rolling diameter back to standard.
(13 inch and radials)

cheers

good to know about the profile, I am guessing this will help to make my speed more accurate also.

I know what you mean about the inner guards, this is close and the front is about perfect, so I was going to use spacers to manage the offset.

Still keen to hear from anyone who might run hubcaps on late model rims.
