I have decided to use a EH column instead of fb, besides the FB one was cracked, if you ever buy a column from a swap meet make sure you check it for cracks around the gear shift hole at the bottom, it seems pretty common.
does any one have a good EJ/EH column and wheel, or at least the horn bar and buttons to sell.
also a HR sway bar.

I have a HR front sway bar and a good EK Steering Column. The only thing is I am in Palm Beach QLD. I only Just swaped the EH steering column last week.

Cheers

I looked into changing columns when I put rack and pinion in my wagon. The hk t g column is collapsible, so much safer, though the bolts don't quite line up if you're using the steering box. I think you have to drill 1 hole and add a spacer. You can apparently adapt a Toyota Crown Power steering box to the column. I ended up putting a commodore column in, so I can't say how the ktg one will look.

The idea of the collapsible column appealed to me, and I figure if you're doing a conversion, it's worth the extra work...... I spose that doesn't help with the parts your chasing though!!

I've got a good EH auto column, not bad wheel and horn ring etc, and a real good HK premier column and wheel also auto. Both good, was going to try to make a combined unit out of it, but never got around to it. give me a cal if you want to come look. in sydney, northshore

Leon,

I don't think the HR sway bar is the correct one. I understand the FB/EK one fits if you are using a HR front end in a FC.

The technical section of the NSW club site details the conversion.

I am looking for the sway bar that dips down in the centre to clear my bottom pulley.
I know I will have to cut out and box the snout to take it.
