If anyone is wrecking a vehicle which isn't completely rusty I'm looking for a little section/strip of 'corrugated' metal which sits under the rear LHS floor pan and runs parallel to the length of the car, just inside from the inner sill, presumably giving some strength to the floor pan itself.

This is for a ute but Ken tells me the floor structure is the same as sedan so I think a part from any model will do the trick.

This is to replace a rusty one so obviously a rust-free one is preferred.

many thanks, jon

If you can't get one locally, send me a picture of the section you want and I will see if the FC wreck I have is suitable.

as luck would have it I found a photo (of 'Doris' on the Tas club site) which shows the very thing I'm looking for. Its the part indicated with arrows...I actually need one for the LHS but they may be the same either side?
