That is shocking, i was on my way to pick up a fe ute  ;Dsunday morning, and on the way past kilcoy here in queensland, i saw a fe sedan just sitting in a paddock with a old ford. So i stopped and approached the farmer to see if i could have a look at the old fe he said no worries, but its not for sale. When i asked why he just said he liked it sitting in the paddock it gave it character Angry. When i had a look at it motor and gear box was missing, but everything else was perfect doors all the glass no rust only surface here and there and the interior was all perfect seats were a bit faded but that was all. But he wouldnt sell it, so it will slowly just dissolve in the paddock. What a shame Cry

Hey air-chief...

Awesome wreck photos...!!! While it is sad to see such beaut cars rotting away like that :-/, I still love looking at good old wrecking pics...

I was wondering, would you mind if I was to put a couple of 'em in one of my Holden club's newsletters one day... I like to stick a wreck pic in every-now-and-again, and I've not seen FE and FC wreck shots like that before...

Also, I was wondering where were the pics taken....? I may have seen some photos similar to that yard (might even be the same place  Huh ) from Victoria.....?

This one is from Goulburn, NSW...

Cheers...

G'day Hewart & Liam

Ken was right, its taken at Talbot wrecking yard.

Theres not much( if any  :-/)good stuff on these cars, even the mechanicals rate low on the out of 10 scale. Many of them were pulled off farms and have been out in the elements for many years.  Sadly their not much good other than to be melted down for recycling. Cry

GIDDAY LIAM

TALBOT IS UP IN THE PYRANEES AREA JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM CLUNES.

I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW SOME PEOPLE CAN LIVE WITH THEMSELVES TREATING AN ICON LIKE THE FE/FC WITH SUCH DISRESPECT. PERHAPS WE ALL SHOULD VISIT WITH A BIG STICK [NOT THAT I AM ADVOCATING VIOLENCE OF COURSE].
