has anybody moved the rear chassis rails inboard at all . looks like thers about 50 to60 mm that you could move them inward and then just put a strip down the middle of the wheel tub

Fatboy,

If you are contemplating registering the car in NSW I'd be careful about narrowing the rear chassis rails to fit wheel tubs. I don't believe it is an acceptable modification.

Check the RTA Light Vehicle Modification Guidelines, or consult an engineer.

Send a PM to Chuck. He has mini tubs in his FC which are legal. He can probably fill you in with the details.
