Eventually  we managed to assemble all the FC's in one place. We had some American friends visiting   from New York State and made sure we took 'em for a ride in each and every FC... Nothing like giving the yanks an education about some other GM products (and we're not talking about the genetically modifed ones...well ' cept for the Coupe....)

I could make rude remarks about Kiwis that cant drive - - but dont personally know any....( thats a save isn't it?)
Actually come to think of it - There is a reasonable amount of Kiwi input into these cars  but keep that to yourself.......
And this is just the FC collection........
Cheers streetneat
PS heres a Kiwi AFTER he's done a job on a Aussie Car- strange looking buggers aren't they?......Sorry Darryl  (famous Darryl McKenzie of Christchurch NZ)

Streetneat,

just 10 minutes after I made my last post I went to Mount Gravatt and passed a "Streetneat" convoy going down Boundary road.  The ute and the sedan.  The new sedan looks even better in the flesh, it has a fantastic stance on the road must congratulate you on yet another job well done.

Mickus

PS.

You TOO Mrs Streetneat sorry I for got to mention ya name

Thanks for your kind words...however all is not  always as it seems -
Well you've heard of a 'Wardrobe malfunction'?.......Well this was a case of lets see how low we can run the sedan fuel tank and by our calculations with our fuel/milage logs we keep for all the cars - we had plenty of fuel..... or so It seemed.
I decided that the new car had gone far enough on that tank of fuel and headed for the servo.....except I got it one street wrong....and consequently KUM66 ran out of fuel.... A quick phone call and my painter Graham came to the rescue and I was dropped home to pick up the FC Ute with its Jerry Can of fuel in the back.
I was extremely mindful of the fact I had deliberatly run the Ute tank nearly dry and would have felt like a right chump had it run short of fuel too .....however the Fuel  Gods had become bored with me and moved on - so luckily the ute  didnt run dry and we filled both cars .
Interestingly the fuel bill for both cars came to about $86 and with one of those shopper dockets we saved a measly $3.83. This goes to show that the Dockets are barely worth the trouble.
One  further point of interest is the Stainless Sedan tank that we make dosent seem to hold quite as much fuel as the Stainless ute tank - or the different servos  show different readings.

Streetneat Convoy? not quite - the coupe ( which we would normally take out on a Sunday) was not in the road train.....see Emu - even we cant drive all three at once....

Gday Blacky
just entered my name in this sites search engine.... got to try most things once -  Sort of scary to see how people talk about you when your not around heh heh heh ...
I have for the moment finished buggerising around with FC's... I wont be renewing my membership... il most likely and quite reluctantly join  up with a slightly more liberal club... Not to be read as harsh critisism - but put blunlty - I'm not a club person and the club scene is just not me... I could go on but its pointless- I have nothing to prove to anyone.
Just in case RET is reading this and others who helped me along the way - Thanks guys and  wish you all the best sucsseses at what your doing.
BTW RET... You should be proud of technically at least of a top site- its streets ahead in many ways of the sites I normally hang out on and we can only learn from your efforts here.
Once again the whole club thing is great for those guys that need to be in one- I fully understand and agree with their viewpoints of clubs  if it suits those individuals - just 'cause it isnt for me - that dosent mean its a bad thing overall- ..... Just read this as horses for courses and  everyone makes their own decisions.
This is not an invite for harsh feedback - I am simply moving on - I will repaeat this post in a few areas of this site if needs be.
On a more personal note  and to answer Blackies  post -those that are interested can follow progress of what projects we have on the go at the http://www.oldholden.com site or the streetneat site.
Just to dissapoint some and annoy others Roll Eyes - the EK chopped Van project is still in organisation mode - thus no work- but the HG ute will be dragged out next and finished...all part of the grand plan.
There is no EGO involved here -  despite some accusations as such - I'm a writer  so Its in my make up to be contraversial  to drag out the best - or worse in people for a great story... thats just what I do - I 'm nearly getting tired of hearing - 'but you dont sound a thing in person like you do on the websites.."

remember one important thing - none of us is more important nor better than the other...  in the big scheme of life it all just simply dosent matter... just have fun without hurting others....

Andrew

I am assuming from your post that as a non financial member of the QLD club you will no longer be gracing us with your presence in Jindabyne. It is a shame to see that our casual and very laid back club is not your scene.

What I can say however is, everyone to his own. No long winded critical explanation required "Its Just Not Your Scene"

So farewell and Happy motoring. No doubt we will see you around the traps one day.

Cheers Jim

Yes Streetneat , I was hoping you were going to be a starter for the nationals so I could meet you in person and also have a look at your amazing work in the flesh (or steel)
