Steering Arms

Need a little help here.
The HR front-end on the FE has Rod Shop 2" dropped spindles, currently I have 2" lowered springs also.
Wheels are 14" Holden steelies.
Steering arms are assumed to be HR Holden (on car when purchased).
LC/J Torana discs and calipers are being used.
Standard width 14" steelies with tyres on do not clear the steering arms, reversed and off-set they clear but foul the guards.
Is there a holden steering arm that I can use to return to the standard 14" Holden off-set?
Failing that, is there someone out there who sells modified steering arms? eg Rod Shop.

To solve a similar problem I had spacers machined up to move  the arms about 5/8 off the stub axle. Works  OK.

hey sgo, where did you have your spacers made up, and how much did they cost?

My spacers were made up from the left over peices of a shortened steering rack!
Any machine shop should be able to turn something up out of round bar and drill a hole in the middle to suit, and should cost bugger all?

The ones that I had that come from the rod shop were bent on purpose for the job and did exactly the same thing, so i got original HR steering arms and they fitted ok.

Right, got out the measuring stick and some bits of curtain rod  

Using the CRS Drop spindle, HR steering arm in the upper position, there is bugger all (a mm or two) edge of rim to tie-rod clearance.

With a 185/75 R14 tyre fitted to the HK rim, to the best of my reckoning the tyre protudes from the edge of the rim by 17mm.

Fitting up a 24mm "curtain rod" spacer everything appeared to have plenty of clearance.

I'll be heading off to the engineer's shop tomorrow to get some 25mm spacers priced and most likely made up.
