Sold! What ever your friend of a friend wants for it, I'll consider it, They are pretty hard to find these days Seb, I've heard tell of people asking up to 2k for one, wether they actually did the deal or not I don't know.

I suppose the head would'nt be much use if you do'nt have the intake manifold and carbs and rocker cover.
Extractors would be easy to have made.

Seb,
it would be worth getting.  these were a rare item in their day, let alone now.  in answer to your other question, these heads were really intended for racing, but there are street driven engines around.  John Keane had an FX in Brisbane in the early 80's which was street driven.  i'll try to dig out a couple of pics of the engine bay.

Hi Seb
What they're worth and what they cost are two different things.. I know of one that sold about 3 years back, it went for 5K, plus it had to be rebuilt. Not worth it!
You'll also need the special push rods, and the alloy side plate to replace the stock tin one, which wont fit the xflow.
Depending on the inlet manifold you use, you may also need a dizzy with an angled drive to get clearence.
I wouldn't spend too much on an incomplete setup, as you may never find the other bits, or it'll cost you a fortune to have them fabricated.
Cheers
Tony
