well i finally bit the bullet after realising that my car was only worth the original price i paid with freight before putting it on the road ,yes i sold it for $1800 as thats all they seem to be worth in QLD,even after spending $1200 more on mechanical things plus dropping in $700 worth of stereo. and i really missed my bikes ,so now ive just got the FC ute project that will be seriously affected by the knowledge of how little anyone is prepared to pay if i ever decide to let it go in the future.as those of us without an endless supply of cash, cant really afford to have expensive toys lying around so the ute will be an everyday driver that i can take anywhere without worrying about if it will make it.sold it to a mate who absolutly loves it and is the worlds worst horder so will treat it like a baby and keep it so his kids can drive it when there old enough.ive used the money on a deposit 4 a Honda CBR600.
cheers Nick.

After going to a Shannons auction last night I got the impression that FE/FC's are not that popular with the buying public. Two nice cars went for very low prices with not a lot of interest.

i just got the bike off ebay and went for a 190km round trip this morning, its an older model cbr but i went for a little hammer before parting with the cash, gee i forgot how fast these mid nineties bike are in comparrison with my old 87 model cbr1000.its only a 600 but im sure it would still beat the 1000 hands down.

Hope you enjoy the bike Nicko, I know what you mean when you say you miss the bikes. I ride an old CX650E and nothing beats a nice long peaceful ride in the country. Just hate those bloody idiots in roundabouts  Angry

yeah  there a bit risky, here in Hervey Bay the population has grown by 20000 in 4 years and 15000 of them are retirees who think roundabouts are just an inconvenience that you can turn in any direction without looking.lol buggered if i know why i would laugh thou as ive had several very close calls, one old pric* even grinned at me as he drove in front of me.
