Here's my two FC utes. About four months ago I found the green one(Herb) locally; missing glass, fuel tank and with badly dented front panels. Had been sitting for 3 or 4 years but with fresh petrol and battery roared into life. Was hoping to restore to a registered driveable condition.Unfortunately it has a severely rusted area around fuel tank and behind cabin. Local engineer suggested that it would be a proposition of months rather than weeks to fix so it has become my wood truck.

Slim who had been helping me with parts assisted me greatly in acquiring no 2 ute(tomato). I found an ad from January in Sydney advertising two utes. Went along with Slim and ended up with this ute. Slim was a true gentleman by paying half the money but allowing me to have much the better vehicle. No running gear but body is in great conditon including a retrimmed interior, good tonneau and mags. Had a HR front end and tunnel cut out for a transplant but I have decided to stay grey.My wife(who has christened them) is warmin to the idea of having two rather than cannibilising Herb.

A wife that warms to letting you have 2 FC's instead of 1....now that's a rare find !

Herb and Tomato huh? ......  Not vegetarians are we.......I guess a poo brown one could be called a Pumpkin !

Well done on the 2 utes !

Send more pics when you find a Pumpkin to add to the Herb and Tomato !

Cheers

Funny you should mention "pumpkin". Should have said "My three FC Utes". Below could be called pumpkin as it started my obsession.Probably a little bit overly ambitious to think I could ever have got it back on the road as well; however bits and pieces have steadily been migrating.
