I'm looking to recondition grey head in the not to distant future. The problem I have is I have got two heads and neither if them have a bung on the top where one of the heater hoses goes in whereas the one on the motor at the moment has got one.

The question is in two parts. Is it more common to see the heads without the heater bung and if I decide to recondition one that doesn't what do I need to do with that heater hose??

Oh, by the way, are there any places particularly in Victoria that may still do change over heads.

Thanks Rod

G'day Rod.
Theres a place in Oakleigh (Melb Metro) called " Head2Head " that does do change over, well about 2 years ago they did.
I don't have the number, but if you look it up you'll find it.

P.S. I think they have a day turn around on heads if you want yours redone.
