There was a gentleman some time ago who was making a prototype heater duct. Has he been successful and does he intend on making them for sale?

Hi Rod,

I should have the heater ducts in hand soon, as they are complete and finished.  i did put out a notice for interest in these and because of the small response I only had a handful of sets made up.  Most have already been sold, however there may ( Huh ) be a couple extras.  If not, I will have the moulds to make them for additional orders.

I will try take them to the next club meet so people can suss them out properly.

Cheers

Ed

Hey Ed,

Hopefully one of those sets has my name on it.
Shame about the heater.  Sad
Let me know when you have them in hand if you could.

I recieved 2 sets & have no hesitation in recommending them. They fit like a glove & do the job perfectly. If you are clever, you dont even have to drill the holes. 100% Ed.
Thanks again,
Rob

Grin thanks guys for the kind words..

The second lot should be ready in a few weeks, if anybody else is interested in a set you can email me on ed-ho@ihug.com.au to be sure to get some.

I am thinking of obtaining some hosing to fit the vents too.

can somebody post a pic here or send me a pic of the heater body outlet (to demister vents for Smiths bullet type heater).  as the rest of the good bits on my car, was parts'd in its previous life.

thanks again

Are you thinking of making these outlets for the bullet type heater?

Hey Air Chief,
IM trying to see what they look like and maybe make a couple? Huh I was thinking of just making a Y out of exhaust tube, plastic conduit or similar.
Or if anybody could let me borrow one with a deposit I could get it moulded???...
A picture of one would be a good start tho.

Cheers

Ed

I know Obsolete Rubber make the rubber outlets for the warmaride heater in a FB/EK, maybe he has them for the bullet heater as well? As for the picture of one, I'll see if someone that I know has one that I can photograph.
