Hello,
I would like some FE bench seat plastic trims (or repro items, anybody have the number of the guy who does these?).
If some original trims are repairable, that's Ok too.
Cheers
Ed

Hi Ed, I contacted Harrisons in Qld recentley asking about seat surrounds for an FC (are they the same as FE??). Response from Paul Harrison was: "We can only do these seat surrounds in fibreglass, $65.00 ea inc gst. The best way to send these is c.o.d post for the freight only, which alllows you have insurance & the ability to track in post." Their website is:http://www.harrisonsearlyspares.com/ and email is: harrisonsearlyspares@hotmail.com I am yet to purchase and would be happy to hear of anyone's experince with these. reagrds, Trevor_B

Hey Ed. Whilst in Qld for the Nats, we stopped by Harisons and they had some in the shop. They looked a bit rough, with some obvious flaws. Not sure if these were representative of the ones he sells, or just shop knock around items. IMHO, you have the skills to repro these yourself, and you could also make extras to get some $$ to put into the project. Regards Alex

I've got some of the Harrisons repro's on my sedan and like Alex says they were a little rough here and there.
I just sanded the rough bits smooth, gave them a paint with some black vinyl spray, polished up the stainless strips and they look really good.
I have a NOS passenger side as well as a repairable drivers side if you are interested. If you want you can borrow them to make moulds. If this is what happens then it would be worth speaking to the club committee who have also been talking about reproducing the plastic uprights. Send me a P.M and we can arrange something.
Cheers,
Craig.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the info,
I'm keen to repro some of these items if given the opportunity, I had looked about for some of these items about a year ago, but for some reason didnt pursue the parts for too long, they were rarer then FE scuff plates!!
Cheers

Hey Slim, If the other pair is still availble then I'd like to put my hand up for them. Even consider the FB/EK ones if they are the only ones left. Thanks Trevor_B
