Here's an advert that appeared in the Readers Digest in October 1959. The advert talks about how for the last 9 years Holden has been the popular choice.



An interesting aspect of this advert is the recycling of the image and the obvious doctoring of the pic to change the colour combination to the latest on offer. Look at the advert below from Aug '58, same girl, same guy, same location, same car....different paint.
