Not sure of the date or the occasion, but found this pic on a gov't photo archive. Looks like they were displaying this FE, with details when new. Caption said it was restored at the ACT Technical College. Looks to be an FE Special without indicators.

It looks like they've done a pretty fine job too. Wonder if they want to do an FC modified for some extra training.?

Very intriguing that it should have no indicators.  It quite obviously has all the other Special trimming, ie wndscreen surround, stainless, badges, front number plate over-rider, and even the two-tone trim can be clearly seen inside the car.

I'd be inclined to think perhaps it had a new front put on it.  NOS FE replacement guards had no holes drilled in them for indicators, so that they could be used on utes/vans/standards and/or specials.  Perhaps the Tech students just didn't notice they'd been missed.  Wonder what else got overlooked Roll Eyes

alex  i found that pic in archives too.  i understood  it was restored by students..& i think it was called an fj in the description Embarrassed Huh
