8)I have aquired a finned adapter plate and two barrell ford V8 carb to suit grey motor, the adaptor plate has a stamping of 'KLEINIG' Sydney.

The adaptor suits the standard inlet manifold.

Anyone heard of these before !!!!!

Chris,

This is most likely something produced by Frank Kleinig or family who I remember as being involved in racing in the 60's/70's/80's - their probably still going  Wink. If my memory is correct they had a BP garage in North Rocks Sydney. Not sure if they are still there. Roll Eyes

Maybe somebody else knows more.

Cheers,

Craig.

I've seen a Kleinig inlet manifold for a grey motor before, although it was to suit twin carbs (from memory  Wink )

Open-wheeler racing clubs are one of the best places for finding out about stove-hot grey motors - that's where the repco cross-flow heads and superchargers for grey motors tend to be, not in road-going Holdens.

cheers
