Wanted 6*13" Tasman Mags, or similar to suit FC.  Must be good condition.

Good Luck, it took ages for me to get a set and they are not even matched (13s and 14s). Parts Peddler (or is it Just Parts) has a two-page ad by a mag warehouse (Melb I think) who advertise Tasmans from time to time.

I've already checked the price from there and nearly fell over.  I'll keep trying.

go for the something similar if you can..early Tasman mags had a tendency for the steel rims to separate from the alloy centers made even more of a problem with age and fatigue..i had heard once this brand of mag wheel won't pass rwc but i can't vouch if that part is true..just be aware of Tasmans is all  :-/

I have one 14x7 wheel, similar to a Dragway 5 spoke pattern but it's made by Sampson Engineering in SA and is all alloy.  If anyone is interested, it's early Holden pattern and is in very good nick, even has a centre cap!!  Would make a good spare!  I have a good 225/65/14 tyre (Goodyear) with 70% tread to suit also.  Email peteramanda@iprimus.com.au to discuss further.  These can be posted.  Can supply a photo too.

Just curious Malcolm, how much were they charging for the Tasmans? and were they good second-hand, re-furbed or other?

I can get a set  of 6"x14" challengers (which are a globe look alike) with correct offsets for fc. They are polished and reco'd at $600 a set. Is this good or bad? On behalf of Malcolm Frew

I shelled out $200 for a set of 4 ROH 13x6 "Splat" Type mags (with 2 good tyres), then another $200 to get them polished, if that's any help.
