I like the way ewe've left the brake cylinder in place. Is that coz u Kiwis use brake fluid to clean down ya barbees after use?

yep left the front end in al though trev (robbzfc58 reckons better if you make proper axle and draw bar for towing )so will probablly do that

And those trim-clips on the guards would be just the shot to hang the tongs off...

Hey Kiwi, heres an idea...why not convert the old Brake Master cyclinder and Clutch Cyclinders into OIL and SAUCE...then all you have to do is rig up a hand pump thingy ( a cheap window wiper pump or something )tehn you can  squirt a bit of oil on the plate before you cook, and then squirt some sauce on the snags when they are done !

Maybe you need to install an exhaust fan in the cowl vent Grin

Seriously, I think Trev's HK version has modified bonnet hinges that allow the bonnet to stand almost vertical (like the later Cortinas).  Something to think about.

kiwi....i guess theres been nothing happening on the fc while kaths been building the FC-B-QUE.    i reckon ewe need to lift the bbq unit or get longer legs..to make things more convenient.
I hope your gonna put the LP tag on the number plate!
ret ..  my car-b-que has stnd hk hinges..maybe they lift higher than fc
incidently,the car-b-que went to a house warming on sat arvo & i havent seen it since
