Went for a look up around Laverton (WA) way last weekend and found a few old wrecks near  a blackfellers camp , took a few photos, could someone give me an email address to send them to so they could post them for me Huh

If Trev can not do the photo thing send them to me. I will put them in my album and link them to this post.

I tried sending them to Trev but the computer wouldn`t play the game, so I sent them to Jim.
There is a few bits left on them,we got there too late in the day to get much off them , but I managed to get a camper seat out of one of the FC sedans.
There are more cars up there but for some reason some of the photos did not come out .We will be going back up shortly to grab a few parts so will try again then.

Interesting car.  Was it Ivory and Maroon with a black dealer stripe?  Or is that undercoat colour on the flash area?
I'm guessing the ID plate had melted off in the fire.

Same dealer stripe that my 3 tone FC had and it originated in Denmark.
Is Laverton anywhere near Denmark?

My car had black added as the extra stripe colour originally but I changed it to dark green.

I plan on grabbing the rear off that FB to make a woodbox for the back verandah , there is an FC sedan that appears to have a good front subframe under it which will make the trip home too , its not in the photos , was one of the ones that I cant get out of the camera - too technical for a simple electrician...

Ken,

short answer is no......

Laverton is about 350 Km north-northeast of Kalgoorlie toward the centre....... and Denmark is about 50 Km west of Albany on the south coast...about the same as distance between Melb and Pt Augusta....

G`day Dale , there is a swag of cars in a house just south of Menzies but there is no good stuff there , I think from memory there is an EH wagon that has been pretty well picked over and thats about it. I havent seen or heard of any FE near Leonora ,if you can get some directions I can have a look next time I am up that way,are you chasing anything apart from a spare wheel door ?
