Not much, but at least it is some progress, I have started up my own site in the "free" 10 megs of space that my ISP gives.

What's got me buggered at the moment is the rear ride height. The springs are supposed to be 2" lower than standard and I have a couple of 2 inch "pinus radiata" lowering blocks to try to get the ride height I want but the rear is still too high. I figure the wheels being 14" and 65 series tyres would be almost the same as the original 13" with the 80 odd series.

nice work Stinky!

have u used the LED's yet?

I was thinking of using some too, but afraid they may be too bright?

do u need to wire them into a PCB or anything?

Cheers

Ed

PS I like the dragways better.

maybe you can set the spring eyes as high as possible to achieve the desired height (just guessing).

Hey ED I know individualism is cool but taking it to the point of installing lead lights is just plain unusual .

Sorry Ed, missed your post.
I haven't tried the LEDs yet, I hope to be getting a sparky around in the next few weeks.
As to the springs, I am glad I erred on the side of caution and had the eyes reversed so that going much lower isn't a problem.

thanks Stinky,

Harko,
LED's just for idiot lights on the dash etc, rather than using bulbs. I thought it may be anadvantage not to have to change bulbs etc, and they are also physically smaller.

Cheers

Ed
