These prices are crazy.  I've seen brand new ones in boxes at swap meets & previously on ebay for less than $400.

I've got one of these, and at these prices, it almost doubles the value of my FJ!

You could get a couple cast for this price and make a tidy profit selling them to ebay buyers.

Goes to show things are worth as much or as little as people are willing to pay for them.

Ahh.
Here we go again!! True, the prices may be high, but the people who are bidding obviously think it is worth it. May not be the correct value, but the the true value of something, is what another person, or persons is willing to pay for it.
My view on this, is the fella who listed the second emblem, really lives up to his username. He has devalued the first listing & divided the bidders. If he had waited until the bidding was over, he could have then listed & got a great deal more than what he would have.

The question is this. If you had one of the & someone came up to you & offered you $800+, what would you do?
Crazy, maybe. But I for one will be looking out for these more often!!

Makes you wonder what the bidding on the first one might have reached.......I had come to the same conclusion.

All I know is, my $30 bird emblem for my FJ is looking even better!
