By the way Ive seen those two shows on pay TV and every last bit of inspiration and motivation is flowing straight from Troy Trepaniers workshop.
Anyone else seen it ?

Holy Bat Turds Harko. There's no turning back now. How did you work out how much to cut out of each post? What other bracing have you used? I need to see more pics. Regards Alex

Haha Alex Im not going the whole hog as I did with my ute and as you know Ive been playing with this one on photoshop for a long time. For the measurements I consulted in my Highly technical Longitudinal diversity equivilator conducting algerisms of gravitational sparseness during the chemical imbalance with consideration towards the hypothetical rheamans theory and I came up with 41mm out of the front pillars and Im not sure of the rears yet ,Im going to lean the whole rear tailgate upper and lower forward about 5 degrees and possibly shorten the rear quarters a little.
Now between you and I and Nicko Im gonna have to quote "Another one saved from a restorer"

The front in the previous photo is at the height it will be welded at after widening the roof and the rear in this shot is only down about 15mm so it gives a bit of a false reading and it cant drop until i trim all the tailgate out. Im only going 1.5 inches so it just enhances the lines with a couple of other body tricks up my sleeve to draw attention elsewhere - hope it all comes together succesfully.

ahhh harko. you are indeed a man of action - unlike me no time, no space (even no electricity in my car space!), and no guts all add to me driving around an ugly duckling with no light at the end of the tunnel in the forseeable future.... so sad.... good for you . put up all the photos. you are an inspiration to us all!! ps. with all these projects gogin on, that ute of yous must be taking up valuable space! remember who is first in line if you want to sell it!! (and if it isn't me, tell me where they live, i'll fix em)

Thanks for the comments fellas BUT (And as much as I hate to say it) Theres been no progress this week apart from cutting the windscreen posts down an extra half inch so its 2 inches in total now, Ive also been doing some more photochopping to get some acurate measurements . And Ive made up templates for the entire car along with marking out where all my cuts will be . This week should see some good progress ,Im on arvo shift and that means I can play cars all morning hehe
Ill post pics of the progress as this damn computer lets me .

Here you can see the gap produced that will have to have a new curved filler sheet placed in.
