G'day guys...
This one is probably going to be of more interest to the Mac users out there (sorry all you PC guys, I don't know if this will work for 'ya) Cry

I like using desktop icons every now-and-again on my Macs. For a couple of years I've used a few simple Holden icons to add that Holden feeling at work. Recently I tried to build a few betters ones and have attached a couple here in a Stuffit file if you're interested in downloading it. The PC guys might be able to get them to work, but I couldn't do it yet... will keep trying though Kiss

They should like like this, but smaller, depending on your icon options. These are at 96x96... anyway, see how you go and let me know if you want more....

I'll post them seperatly as it seems to be too big in one file... Wink
Cheers
Les...

PS: If you need instructions on how to use 'em on your folders, let me know.... hope you like 'em!

Nifty stuff, Les.

I've had a little play with 'em, and produced these.

You can download them direct from here:

If that doesn't work, try http://homepage.mac.com/ret/FileSharing4.html

Hey Richard...
Sure thing.... I thought seeing as you'd posted those other ones so quick, that the desktop icon was old news and you' done your own already....!! It's just a matter of finding the right pic and having enough time to deep etch it....

Email me a pic of the front of your FE and I'll see what I can do. What other "FE" ones would you suggest....? Maybe an ornamental jewel one might look OK if anyone has a good pic of one...? Even a tyre shot might look OK, I dunno.... what do you reckon...?

Cheers

Hope they look alright...! Still looking for a straight-on front shot of an FE to match the FC one....

Thanks Les,

Sure I can find a good use for those.  I'll have a look for a good front-on shot for you.

Hey Sarge (and all you other PC users)... Wink
Sorry for the delay, but I finally found a PC here at work to use and tried to work out a way to make a couple of PC Holden icons.... I take my hat off to all PC users.... I don't know how you do it!! I'll stick to my Mac anyday.... Grin

Anyway, attached in this zip file (hopefully) will be the FC front, FE front and Grille badge..... I hope they work for you, I could really check 'em again.... let me know, and... GOOD LUCK!!

Cheers

Hey Sarge...
Glad you liked 'em.... even glader they worked I guess... As for more, I'll try, but you might have to wait as I'm off for a week... Anything in particular...?

Cheers
