I know this guy, he is a good mate of mine. He even belongs to the EHCC of NSW and goes to the swap meets all the time. Very handy for EH parts at a very good price.

Hi 2yVan, He would be a good mate to have he seems very handy with a welder and looks to like a challenge !! One thing I would like to know is how the hell he turned that monster out of the driveway ? Steve.

WHAT!?! Anyone can weld a car together like that!! The real SKILL is getting it right, without the metal distortion & need for kilos & kilos of bog. Imagine how many cars that guy with the second car rooted! What a wasteful, pointless exercise. The only thing he proved, is he can F*&K up a dozen EH's & make a car that looks remarkably like a Daschund (Sausage dog). Like the dog in the cartoon, "Hairy McClarey" = "Schnitzel VonCrumb, with the very low tum" Rob J

Alfio and I were talking to the builder in question at the recent Blacktown Car Show. He had an interesting photo album including the above photos. He had 2 immaculate modified EHs at the show and one them won a trophy.

Hi Cat. yes, it is sad, isn't it. I can name all the "Stars" on Hairy McClarey. Ahh, but the adventures that little black dog gets up to. I am always riveted to my chair!! That cat "Scarface Claw" gives me nightmares. Rob J (aka: "The Sad-man-boy")

Rob, I'm with you. Those books (and the video) are the favourites at our house at the moment. I read the kids one of them every single night. Just think, if you bought that ridiculous EH - assuming it fitted onto the Princess of Tasmania, of course! - you could be known as "4HAMMERS FROM TASSIE WITH THE VERY LONG CHASSIS" We can't even see the original topic with binoculars any more......

jeez you reckon the builder would have a spare bonnet or bootlid lyin around. First one is probably a good cause but the second one would be something for hercules morse.... as big as a horse!!!!
