Have you tried your local/state spring manufacturer? We have a place in Adelaide called Industrial Springs, they do every kind of spring and other stuff too. Had my new rear leaf springs made there. They also have a "bargain bin" full of odd springs.

No I haven't contacted Slim yet.The springs are riveted to the
hinge and specifically fo FE FC can't be bought from a spring manufacturer.

Graham, best place to get them is from a HR wreck.  The springs are the same and are rarely broken on HR.
I have a few spare ones that are available if you have no luck

Thanks for the tip Ken. I have a few HR doors spare and will have to rat them out for my car.
