Hi Glenn,

Transporting a whole diff housing from Albury/Wodonga isn't feasible, however I do have at least one possibly two very good spring/shock absorber hangers/brackets from the HR diff.  These tend to corrode where the shock rubber mounts over the pin, mine have no corrosion which is quite uncommon nowadays.  They have been in storage for 18 years!!  If you're interested please email peteramanda@iprimus.com.au or leave a reply here.

Cheers

Hi John,

I sold one before for $20, how does that sound?  As I said I know I have one, I may have two!  How about $30 for the two if I have them??

Cheers

I have been trying since monday to get to the wreckers that have a few HRs, no luck so far because of work. As soon as I have I will give you a hoi. If that's OK, otherwise I guess John M gets 'em  Grin

I take it the brackets are different between the FE and HR and that is the reason I need the HR brackets?

Glenn,

Sorry didn't see your reply there, yes HR and FE are very different as the very mounting of the diff to the spring was revised on the HD, U bolts are no longer used.  So how long do you need to source a diff housing??

I'll grab the pair if you've got them, the ones at the wreckers were still on the car, but they looked old and abused. Send me an email gjs @ ihug.com.au (remove spaces) to let me know how you want me to pay etc.

Stinky....I know of a HR Diff that's been chromed and is hanging in a guys shed.........pretty positive it's HR as I was searching for a HR centre and he offered me the housing aswell.    Only drama, is I'm in WA.

If you were interested, I could always ask this guy on your behalf !

Cheers
