I went to look at this car about 2 weeks ago. In terms of bodywork its in very good nick but needs a tidy up (new paint job), some minor re-assembly, a motor, transmission, fuel tank etc..

Very good basis for a project but a bit more work than I need right now...otherwise I think I would have purchased it.

It seems more than a bit on the expensive side w/out motor gearbox etc.  especially with no rego, trip over the pits and a tow to get it home!!

yeh, you're probably right, but I'm spending a good deal more than this getting the bodywork on my ute sorted out and this FC wagon didn't seem to need any. A new motor/gearbox/towing etc..  is a minor expense compared to rust repairs if you can't do them yourself.
