The Trimatic will bolt in ok and clear the floorpan, you might need a different crossmember depending on your current set up and the shift lever hole may need some alteration. I have replaced a couple of 4 speeds in FC;s with Trimatics, the vehicle with the Ek floor pan had no problems, the one with the CRA chassis kit needed a few modifications, but was still pretty straightforward.
