Back to Koolsville ( Little Micks place) ..for some more Kool tatts for the car.. He is a little camera shy so the flash makes him look like he's on another planet.... A hell of a nice guy... did this for Nix....Whole car and tool box took about twenty minutes... using one shot enamel .. this stuff when dry is non removeable...

Brisbane hot rod show 2003... Won top radical custom third year in a row here... I put a lot of expense and effort into the display every year...I never display the car with any more than one door open. Customs by their very nature look best diplyed closed up so the viewer gets an un interupted view of the flowing lines... Car has come a very long way from its humble beginnings... This car has won more awards and coverage than any other car for least amount of $ spent. It owes me $15 000 and five years of my life. I am anti show car so I dont have the ego that matches the car... I just enjoy cruising it and all the trophies are hidden under the house...

Thanks for the marathon effort Streetneat, I don't know about anyone else, but I am gobsmacked. It's good to see the car in the magazine features, but it is even better to see how it all done. I love the shot of the gold version sitting in the booth with masking still in place, looks like a block of solid gold.

Yep, I can appreciate that, the web-site I manage is nearing capacity now, I'll have to clear out some old stuff soon. I have saved a copy of the story and pics to my hard-drive, is it OK with you if I reformat it and put it on the Street Machine Assoc. of SA web-site? ( http://www.smasa.com.au if you want to have a look) Cheers

Just to clarify,
No problem leaving the thread here, I've no intention of removing it. It's only the images need to be relocated, as we are over our 50MB space allocation, and these two threads alone consume 6MB of that.
The links to the pictures will be amended once they're moved, so the thread will look exactly the same.
cheers RET
