Here's a cool black and white advert showing the reasons why a Holden is the right choice for family motoring. Found in Walkabout Magazine, January 1st, 1958.......Happy New Year!

Hey Alex
Been thinking about the ads you've been posting , which are absolutely fantastic , the people in them , the "parents"   would probably be in their late 70's - 80's now , and the "kids" would probably in their 50's ...
mmmm  wonder why I was thinking that  Embarrassed

Likewise Phant,

My Dad had a peach of a Fountain Blue/White Special Station Sedan. Wonder where it is now?

I remember jumping from the back seat to the front where I stood next to Mum as she drove to the shops. The only seat belt was Mum's arm which she used to throw across my chest as she hit the brakes!
I'll never forget the day that she took the fat lady with big boobs from next door to church and had to brake suddenly. The old, fat lady never understood why Mum felt it necessary to hit her across the melons as she broke! Too funny. We rolled around, unrestrained, in the back seat laughing uncontrollably as my mother tried to explain and apologise.
