I have one of those Taxi's. I bought it off ebay from a guy in France. I recently brought 1 in for a friend, and paid under $40 AUS for it, postage included. They are a good quality model, much the same quality and size as Trax.
They are put out by a Spanish company called Altaya, and could be bought in France and throughout Europe. They were a part of a series of cars called Taxis of the World that came out regularly with a booklet and model packed together and started in January 2002. The books are written in French. These would be similar to what we can on occasion buy at newsagents.
Here's a pic showing a few of the series and their booklets:

Thanks Alex.  Slim has summed it up well.  Could you post info here please?  I'd buy one for $40 if still available.   Cheesy

Do a search on ebay. Use different combos like "FE Holden" or "FE Taxi" or "Holden Taxi" or "altaya taxi". They are not always on there, but do appear regularly. Be sure to tick the "available to Australia" box.
Here's one on at the moment. I used the Holden taxi search to find this one.

Always be sure to check the payment method before bidding, and if you send the seller a message requesting a postage estimate, this can help decide to buy or not. The above auction has limited payment options, so hard to pay from Australia.
