I am getting a little frustrated and am about to rip out pages of my Nasco cattledog.

I have managed to find corresponding part numbers to pivot pin upper kits both inner and outer however can only find lower outer kits.

I have not as yet started to remove anything from my car as I would like to know what I need to purchase if requried. At this point I just want to identify the bitz and peices I may need.

I had a look at rares website no luck there either.

Upper Kit outer-7406724 (7406003 ?)
Upper Kit inner- 7406728
Lower Kit outer- 7406726

These kits also include individual part #. Did the lower inner not come in kit form if so what are the part numbers.

Please help or just come over to the bonfire on Saturday night.

Cheers Jim

PS. Could I be looking for Shaft & Bush Unit - Lower Control arm #7408961

Jim, for FE and FC there are only outer kits for upper and lower arms.
The inner kit 7406728 is for FX and FJ.

inner upper for FE/FC is part # 7405933 which is a .004 oversize shaft and bush unit and inner lower is as you have guessed is part # 7406261 which is also a .004 oversize shaft and bush unit.

Thanks Ken

I will cancel the bonfire.
I have my car booked in for the subframe work and then its time to strip down the front end and give it an overhaul.

It will make me feel better about driving it regularly once the subframe is repaired.

Cheers Jim
