.Hi all.
Well, the time has come, to say goodbye to my nice low mileage ute. It is not getting the attention it deserves. I have got the Norman Supercharger bug & am funnelling my cash into my FB standard Cop-car.
Short description is this. It has 34,000 genuine original miles on the clock. NO RUST. Best sub-frame I have ever seen. Still in original gloss black under the car, & as clean as a whistle. Matching numbers on original motor. Motor may need a bit of work, as slightly fumey. This is because the sucker sat for 28 years in a shed. Interior is in excellent condition, with the seat professionally re done with a NOS squab. Fllor mat original, but not perfect. Genuine Olympic Air-rides, one is NOS. Rear tray has been painted in Shitty blue enamel, but it comes off easily. It has protected the tray magically. All panels are again 100% rust free. There are a couple of dents here & there, but they are NOT big. I have photos of them.
This car has been looked after by a fanatic over the last 30 years, but he has managed to polish through in places. The car will need a re-spray if you want it spot on.
It also comes with a wooden canopy. Not regoed.
I am in Tasmania, but shipping to the mainland is possible
I am being picky, but I want it clear to all. For more info, give me an email or a PM.

$7,000 if you want to restore it. Bloody cheap, but I want it to go fast.

$15,000 if you think you are going to modify it. Get the point?

There are a few people who are keen on this car, but I just have to be fair to all & advertise on the forum.

Thanks,
Rob J

Very good to see there are still cars like that around.  Both prices sound very fair.

Congrats on making 400 posts.  Do you get a prize?

Would luv to see a pic of the ute just for interests sake.

regards, shayne.

Hi Trev,
Yes, I wanted it to go to an "enthusiest". There is a guy down here who wants it & is keen to pay more, but I cannot abide it getting hacked for a V6, TH700 & all that stuff. Don't get me wrong, I dig those cars, but this one is NOT going that way. Money is not everything, I have learnt.
All goes well, it should be in NSW by the end of next week.

Hi fc4me.
Yes, it was a hard choice, but I have 4 other Holdens & a wife that is getting really shirty about all the Holdens I have stashed here & there. One of the other cars is an even lower mileage car. Later model, but still immaculate. This one will sooth my "Low Mileage" cravings.

Yes, I am sad it has gone, but know it is going to get the attention it needs. I have just bought another car, this one with 28,000 miles on the clock. Car is immaculate. Only thing is, it is a.......wait for it.................HG Belmont Station Wagon!!! I know, but you gotta see this car to appreciate it. Beautiful, really well optioned & MINE!!
So, one of the others had to go. I admit to having 4 cars that my wife knows about, but there is a couple more stashed out of sight.
The canopy is really cool on the ute. The plans were availabe frokm your GMH dealer & you bought them & built it yourself, or got a joiner to do it. This one has been really well put together. Looks excellent.

Man, I would have loved that fold down seat Slim, but I suppose it would have ended up at Ace's place anyway!

*sniff* *hands rob a kleenex*

Congrats on the purchase Ace, that canopy looks awesome, along with the rest of the ute!

Rob, pump some funds into that blown cop car of yours, now that's a project! Just saying those words 'blown cop car', it just rolls off the tongue. try it everyone......'I own a blown cop car'. Very jealous mate.
