Sweet!! Look at the headlight surrounds. Looks like they may be FB EK grafted on. Wasn't someone asking about that awhile back? I wonder if that car is still about somewhere. I know of an FC that is still in full race trim. Locked away in a shed, doing nothing. It has a FULLY galvanized body, with all seams welded for extra strength & bloody great holes drilled everywhere to lighten it. It is running a VERY hot red, with a 12 port head & god only knows what other internals. It also has a big wing on the back. Been trying to buy it, but the lady wont sell............yet.

Well, what about this. I decided to have a look in the phone book to see if there was a G French at Colebrook. There was. I talked to him for 10 minutes & he thinks the car has gone to the big wrecker in the sky. BUT, he has a stack of photos & also those ones that you posted Norm, but in colour. Car was a really bright red. He is coming up to my place on Wednesday & we will scan all the photos off. Will keep you informed! Rob J

Hi Alex. No problems. I would be more than happy to get a CD off to you. Don't worry about costs, I owe you a few anyway, since you have posted heaps of great pics for all of us to see. Yes, I also asked about the headlights & they were FB EK grafted on. Will let you know how I go. Rob J

Got them!! He came up as planned & we yapped for ages. He checked out my cars & is coming up again soon to have a gander at my Norman. I scanned off the photos & they look great, BUT they are huge, as I got them b=nice & big to get all the detail. I cleaned them up on a photo program that I have here & they came out clear as can be. I will send them on a CD to you Alex & maybe you can make them fit on the site. Yes, they were EH tail lights & the best I have seen done. This car look bloody fantastic. I am on the hunt for it, so stay tuned to see what the results are. Rob J

Rob, Download the image tool that I recommended previously http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.htmlIt can resize your files very easily so you can post them. Download the program, install it to your P.C, then run the program and go to File/Batch Conversion/Rename (top left) This will open another screen. Using "Look In" in the top right corner locate the directory with your images in it. Click on "Add All" (centre left). All your image files should now appear in the list on the left of the screen. Click on the "Use this directory as output" button. Click in the textbox above the button you just clicked - where it is showing the "path" to your images. Press "end" on your keyboard. This will put the cursor at the far right of the path. Type the word "small". This will create a new directory called "small" within the one where your images are currently stored. Now check the box called "use advanced options" on the bottom right of the screen. Click the button that says "Set advanced options". This will open another screen. Click the "resize" checkbox on the centre left top. Click the "Preserve Aspect ratio" checkbox centre left. Where it says "set new size" type 450 in the box marked width. Click "OK" Now you have told the software that you want to reset the size of all the selected images to a width of 450 pixels (the perfect size to post on here) you just have to click on "Start" top centre. All the new smaller image files will be placed in the directory you set in the earlier step (small). Now just post them to the site as normal. Hope it all makes sense, if not let me know where you have problems and we'll sort it out. I want to see the photos now Hope this information is useful for others. Cheers, Craig.

I tell you guys, what. I would never have believed the photos he gave me would have come out that clear. I used a really basic program (I thought it was, anyway), to re-focus, clean up & all that stuff & they have come up great. In a couple of the photos, you couldn't make out the number plate. Mt quaestion is, How the hell does it do it??? RJ
p.s. Another one.

Well done Rob.
The car looks so much better in the colour photos.
As Alex always correctly says: "Thanks for sharing".
And thanks to Norm for kicking all this off.
Cheers,
Craig.
