thanks trev your a legend
yeah i went a had a look
they replaced the rh sill and front floor pan
the rest od the ute was amazing
the dent in the rh fender has been knocked out
warrens panel and paint have done a great job
ill put more pics on when it gets painted tomorrow
looks like u have to stock the bowser for summer
cause we will be coming your way
and finally go on one of the club runs

ok after sleepless nights of picking a colour
i went for the original ocean mist green
i just couldnt decide so the panel beater gave me the original colour,its in getting painted now so ill have a pic up tomorrow
thanks to ace and slim for the parts
many thanks to our wa pres gary who found the ute for me

Oceanmist is a nice colour, my (daughter's) FE Sedan looks good in it.  Be good to see the ute when painted.

he is the best
never met a bloke who is more excited about the ute
than me
the panel shop got broken into last night
they rammed the front fences and ute was stolen lucky it wasnt the fe

the ute is going better than i thought
the colour is a little lighter than the picture
basically now we start to put it back together
hopefully we are about 8 weeks away from driving

yes the pic was in the shade and he blamed his office girl hehehe.he informs me that a new pic in  the sun will be posted today.trev the mechanical has been done
we left the motor due to is running like a dream so we decided not to touch it ,all tests have shown motor is in good nick.i had a worn out clutch
i have done the brakes and interior is next

someone asked me the other day if im going to put it in a shed and drive it once and month .no this ute which is named FAITH,she will be a daily driver ,she spent the last 20 years in a shed and about time she did some got out and got some sunlight

I am always envious when i see people with the know how and skills to restore an FE / FC like you are doing "Especially a UTE", I want one !

I'm like Mick - envious of you blokes who tackle these jobs - I shudder when I think about the day I lay the paint stripper on my car.
