Hi all
Just fitted the linkage to the firewall and the rod that goes from left to right seems to have a lot off play
between the locating brackets.
Is there a spring or something that fits to the end of the linkage rod to take up the play?
I sort of remember that a small spring and washer was on the left hand side.
my memory's not to good as it was 35 years ago when I unbolted it
If not than I might put a couple of felt washers in there to compensate .
Thanks again Brad.

There is a factory spring Brad, on the drivers side from memory. I’m running a c@blend clutch so from memory.

From memory I took these from the FB/EK Workshop Manual but they may help.
Cheers,

Hi Brad, on the right-hand side (driver's side) there should be a coil spring in between the mounting bracket and the cross shaft that takes up any movement in the cross shaft.
