I am about to put the new headlining in my ute. My question is did the Utes have padding on the header panel the inner panel above the windscreen where the visors fit, b pillars and rear inner panel above the rear window? I know Toranas do but I am not sure of FCs.

Thanks in advance Dave

Dave
Can't help with sunvisor area atm
Do have an FE ute here and the headliner on the B pillar has come adrift near the top of the seat
There appears to be just tar paper / board underneath in this location, type you find stuck to the floor and roof

Not much padding anywhere really. None above either the front or rear screens. Zulu confirms what I thought about the B pillar.
The only padding I can recollect is on sedan C pillar over the wheel arch

check to make sure the foam is still in the pillar, or put some in like this

otherwise the headliner will get sucked down like how Neil explains it here

Thank you for the information, especially the tip about the sponge.
