The faded writing in the image appears on the driver side panel of an FE ute.  It says ALBURY at the top, but what do the letters and numbers below mean?

I expect they are Tare and Gross weight limits. The bottom letter looks like an A, so maybe Aggregate

Yep.  Tare weight 1 ton, 0 cwt, 0 lb.  Aggregate weight 1 ton, 11 cwt, 0 lb.

from which I'd gather the load capacity is 11 x 108 lbs = 1188 lbs, 68 lb over half a ton.
