Are there still photos of the spring adjustment bolts being made for the FC boot springs..or is anyone still selling them

I had another go at getting my spring on but every time I got it to clip in it let go again so ended up taking the hinge off and noticed the main pivot points hole was elongated
If I can post the photos could someone tell me if they are actually worn

Umm, yes.  Just a little bit.  Hold hinge tongue in one hand, link in the other, then push and pull . . .

Grind the rivet, punch it out.  Weld the oval hole up and drill it to size.  Fit new rivet.  Repeat for the hinge spring bracket.
