wiper grommet and spring kit

Gday, Was just wondering if anyone could explain how the grommet and spring kit for the wipers from rare spares is fitted please?

I assume you are talking about WM1003 kit.
The grommets will fit FE FC but the spring clip is essentially a FX FJ thing.
You push out the old grommets from the wiper arms and push in the new ones.
FE and FC use two individual clips to hold the wiper arms onto the wiper motor, I have some of these if you need them.

Yeah ok Ken, Thanks. Thought it may have fixed the slop in my wipers, at 80km's and up or if a truck goes past me my right hand wiper goes half way up the screen. hahaha

That sounds like wear in the joint of the wiper arm. These can be reconditioned to tighten up the socket.

Where abouts would i take it? Any idea? Or would it be easier to try and find one whats in better condition?

First you need to remove the old one and inspect it to confirm where it is loose. It could be the grommets that are worn out or could be in the linkage.
Repair Depends on how skilled you are. It’s not really hard to pull apart and repair. It’s riveted together, so needs new rivets to reassemble.
If you don’t have the skills, then hunt up a better one.
