I am in the process of purchasing an FC and I need a reasonably priced car carrier to bring my new pride and joy to Canberra from the Gold Coast......a door to door transport would be fantastic.....please help......

Try Toll Express.I used them to get a car from Syd' to Melb.They did it door to door at a very competitive price.

i have found TNT pretty good,Toll are usually a bit more expensive but it all depends on where pick up and drop off is,can make quite a bit of difference to quotes.Make sure car is driveable and has working hand brake, as some wont take it and others will double the charge, what ever you do ring all companies as price can vary by hundreds of dollars so let your fingers do the walking as the ad's say.

Busfreight..
not sure if they run from other states but would imagine so.. this is McAffertys I think??
I shipped V8 Engine heads to Perth from Sydney for 65 bucks..

The current bidder on my FC lounge lives in perth and Ive put him on to McCaffertys bus freight also ,so will let you know what this big bastard costs to export just for reference sake

just out of curiosity,who was it with best price and what were the losing quotes and who were they?,as i have moved a few cars around in the last couple of years so i am always after best price

I was going to use the below guys, but I am now going to fly up and drive it back....

Well Graham, Looks like I have missed out on it......was a FC UTE.....there is a guy looking at it tomorrow and if he likes it he will take it there and then.....I just don't want to buy a car site unseen..... back to the drawing boards..... I am going to go and look at the one in Sydney with the 350 chev in it........will see if he takes my offer.....I am determined to get my ute damn it......  |

yep Slim that's the one......
I have spoken to the guy a couple of times and he comes across pretty arrogant.....
I'm going to be a bit daring and probably offer him $16,000.......I'm not spending any more than that.....
What do you think Slim.......?
is it worth $16,000 and do you think he will let it go for that..?

Bucko.
I think you are a bit late. I just sold a NOS Flash kit to a fella who had just bought that ute. So as far as I know, it is gone. Might want to check though, I am sure that is the only 350 FC 2 tone blue ute for sale on the forum.
