Gosh, this one went for a bit

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HOLDEN-FE-FC-FB-EK-BADGE-UTE-WAGON-VAN-REAR-EMBLEM-NASCO/112834732919?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

Is this out there or about right for one, pitting and all?

Rare Spares have been looking at reproducing this badge but have been having difficulties in getting it right - particularly the subtle curve in the badge.

If someone was to provide a NOS badge there is a chance we can get Rare Spares to continue with their development work in making the badge.

If you have one and are prepared to loan it to Rare Spares on the basis that it will be returned as supplied please contact the VIC Club or leave a post here.

Cheers,

A quick plug for a company I hope are still operating. When I sold my Fc ute to do a Fargo pickup I got a ratty leaping Ram bonnet emblem of a mate  and sent it to Diecast Wizard. Came back faultless and cost me about 240 bucks plus postage. It really was faultless and was pitted to buggery when I sent it. Hope this helps, Richo

Thanks everyone.

I was really only curious about if the badge that sold on ebay was a fair value for it - $78 (plus postage) for a fairly pitted one ?

Hey Richo, Diecast wizards are still going, they call themselves Wizard Classic Chrome in Queensland. Their add says they specialise in doing old diecast. Might give them a call after Easter about getting some of my bits done.
