WHOOPS..
Looks like i missed a bit 😕
to many late nights & busy days
i'll try and catch up

Day 5 (Nats day 2) Sat

Show & Shine day.
It's  going to be  in a Hall ?

and our first day that we wake up to find the wagon covered in morning dew 😯

bugger. i had to wipe over the wagon for the show & shine

All set up. time to go find a shady spot as the sun is out and getting very warm again.

wandered around the village of Hall.
here's the  hall in Hall

The doctor came to check out the vars

(will do my few show pics later)

Sat night is dinner & fun night
we dressed up to represent our home states, had birthday cake And the highlight of a terrific rendition of The man from Snowy River

West Aussie FIFOs

buggered if i know what these represent 😉😊😕😦😲

Another GREAT (and tiring) day at the Nats

SORRY
Tapatalk !!!
I'll figure it out one day  (maybe)
2 pics that weren't  meant to be here.

the rear end of an echidna at Alivio Park (Nats HQ)
and my rear end. (Sat night fun included a scavenger  hunt, a photo of a plumbers crack being one of the items needed)

Day 6
Day 3
Sunday
Cruise. Sports. Tropy night.

woke to a very misty morning
(but it cleared to another beautiful  day)

Followed the bunny
( a great idea having a number of cars throughout  the cruise with bunny ears for us to follow )

and helpers on corners with signs. You had to try hard to get lost.

Saw lots of Canberra sites.
Went to the Ainslie lookout where you get this magnificent  view to Parliament  house (es)

you can see the morning mist clearing

SELFIE 😊😆

Sports day & lunch

😊😊😊

hubcap toss

Lorene shows the boys how it's  done

Huh??

egg & spoon

& tug of war were some of the games

The ladies team

I'm not too sure this is the right technique  Huh

Trophy presentation evening was a really posh affair. The Canberra guys kept the location a secret

another great event
Congrats to all the winners

the view  ot of the back door

another busy Nats day
( which means i go to bed and fall asleep instead of updating a diary 😴😴😴)

Catching up

Day 7
The unofficial  day 4 of the Nats

nothing official planned and we haven't put any lines on the map yet
so we went for a bit of a drive 😃

went to Goulburn to do this photo
( it's  one of those BIG thing pics you just have to do )

then retuned via Yass
just for this

just for a 1cm line 😊😊😊

(explains why the guys at work think i'm mad)

DAY 9 (??) Wednesday

Up bright and early to watch a sunrise over the ocean. Another beautiful morning, the thermometer at the surfclub shows 20°

.
( on panoramic + filter on my little camera )

LOVELY beach

SURFS UP 😃

Wish i had brought the surfboard. I would of paddled out and hung ten on a couple of the barrels
(stop laughing Lorene 😉)

went way off track...
& went walking on the moon...

it's  a bloody long line on my map !

then we hit the road heading  north to Woollygong

We stopped here for a coffee break

not sure exactly (?). we got lost and ended up in a National Park. Somehow found a town & a coffee shop ☺

then back on the road 😊😊😊😊😊

love driving through places we've  never been before. with the long straight open spaces & tight winding roads, the open paddocks changing to thick bush

Stopped somewhere else
buggered if i know where
these MIGHT be photos from there... or somewhere else

SELFIES 😀  (this is one of those "must do" photos)

got to Woollygong with no problems...
except...
could smell petrol all day 😦

overfilled at last stop so after unloading EVERYTHING i could check the rearend for any signs of leaks

it's  all good  😃

😊😀😃😄😆☺

Cathy is watching the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony to see if  any classic old Holdens appear

I think I might be picking up the wagon on the way over to Wangaratta at this rate   Roll Eyes

We dropped it at CEVA in Sydney on the 5th April
ETA in Perth  20th April

(Anthony dropped his sedan off on the 3rd and picked it up on Friday, just in time for the Curtin Car Show)

The wagon hasn't even left the Eastern states yet  Shocked
looks like it spent 11 relaxing days at the Sydney depot
