You doing it upside down surferboy  Grin, turn it up the right way and go step 1,2,3, etc.... unstead of ....3,2,1

the toothy coggy bit got jammed somehow by this screw.

i took skin off my hand wrestling the bits through the opening
this is why i pay other people to do things.


i did eventually get it all apart
AND
i seem to have got it all back together

😎😎😎

I agree, the manual is a bit brief here. When I do this job I usually remove that nut so the channel can be flexed in a bit. I lower the glass to the bottom of the door and then remove it from the channel. Once the glass is out of the channel then the channel can be flexed away from the regulator to make it easier to get it the regulator out.
