yes the memories they all flood back
can remember the days when dad would pack up the fc wagon
hitch on the roma plywood caravan and we would (all six of us ) go on
holidays .
those hot sticky seats , and the youngest boy ,me of course laying in the back
cargo area on top of the sheets, towels ,eskie, boxes of food .

Mal has asked me to post some of his pics....enjoy. Photos with the ply van were taken at Burleigh Heads in the sixties     My "camping" photo was taken at Burleigh Heads Beach. Lorraine and I camped there in the fifties with my parents.  Regards Alex |

I have an identical caravan to the one in the top picture sitting in the backyard, idea was to tow it behind the my FC ute. |

Not a lot of holiday pics, this was my 1st car, a single tone white FC Special sedan I still remember the rego BTE 638, had a lot of fun in that car "Dad pouring the tea on a family picnic to Cole & Candle Creek around 1968"  |
