Looking to get hold of either a Commodore 15" interceptor rim in 26P (26mm positive offset), or a 15" space saver.

The 26P rims were used on VP Berlina, VP and VR with ABS/IRS, VT Aclaim V6 and VQ Statey Series 1 (most Commodore 15" rims are 43P). The space savers were used on Monaros, though most got used as front runners until they were banned by many drag strips.

Need to use either of them as a spare wheel for the EK wagon V8 project. Happy to pay for wheel and freight.

Cheers,
Harv

I too am chasing these rims, I have managed to find two up here in the sunny north. Wreckers look you as if you are alien when you ask for 26p commodore rims.

Thanks gents.

Yep, the Commodore rims are all stamped, usually on the front face, near the edge of the rim (kinda where you would fit a lead wheel weight). The stamped numbers are typically something like 6 JJ 15 43P, and normally end in either 43P, or 26P... its the 26P ones that I need.

Just a thought Harv, have you looked at BMW rims? they have the same 5x120 spacing as the Commodores.

Not yet, but its looking like I may need to.

Finding a BMW wrecker who doesn't want an arm and a leg could be fun though.

Surely you could get 43p modified. I have had offsets changed on 13x7" chromies.

What are you currently running on the rest of your corners if this is just for the spare?

All four corners are 26P (I robbed a VQ Statey that was being upgraded to mags). The fronts are critical, as 43P fouls the tie-rod ends. The rears are less critical.

There is a mob in Warwick Farm (not too far from me) that can change the offset of a 43P, though a factory 26P or space saver would make life easier.
