Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can identify these bucket seats. They came out of my FC sedan, but I'm going back to a bench seat. Passenger one is in great condition, drivers has splits. I've looked on Google, but couldn't find anything quite right.

I would of said VW going off that slide on the front but the fat bit on the back changes that.

I tend to agree the slide knob is definitely early Volkswagen but there have been lots of modifications to them . Haydn

Early volksy hey, I have the same ones here I got off an uncle. Scored em for the missuses Fc.  He had a bunch of kombies over the years and these seats of mine he had once fitted to pops early holden. There pretty comfortable and still in great nik. She doesn't want them so there going into my EK sled.

They are early Renault seats. Have fitted a few pairs to FC's in the past and have a pair for my sons FC Wagon project. They are comfortable and suit the style of early Holdens in my opinion.

So when modifying seats and putting in buckets  ,  is there is no regulation on having headrests or not .
does the seat not  have to be a certain height to pass engineering .
l thought because of whiplash in the event of a crash the headrest or height of the seat was there to  help prevent this
